Erick Turnbull

Erick Turnbull was born March 20,1977 in Napanee,Ontario and had already begun playing guitar by the age of ten. At school, Erick used to entertain classmates with impressions of his teachers, and soon learned to combine his guitar playing with his comedy. He has been performing ever since.

Erick went on to be the feature act of clubs around the kingston area as well as Toronto and Ottawa. Erick is also a comedian, having recorded a comedy album as well. “its something I don’t think I can ever get away from!” he says.

His proudest accomplishments have been winning the Yuk Yuk’s competition in 2003, placing third place in the International Finger-Style Guitar Championships in 2004, and placing 1st in 2005. He has also made several T.V and radio appearances and has been the feature act at clubs around Canada for several years.
