© Andrew White / Brendan Power 2000
This album was recorded live to DAT at various venues on the Feb 2000 Power & White tour of Ireland (with guitarist/singer Andrew White). It comprises 14 tracks, about equally divided between original tunes and songs written by Andrew and Brendan Power, basically the best of the recorded stuff from the various gigs.
There is an 'X Factor' that you get when hearing a recording of a live gig, which is generally missing in even the best studio albums - and this one has it in spades. It is as raw as it comes: no added effects, EQ or overdubbing - it's just as it was on the night, as testified by the enthusiastic and sometimes raucous crowd reaction.
World
Andrew White (Guitar, Vocals) and Brendan Power (Harmonicas) became friends while living in Auckland, New Zealand. Both moved overseas and have achieved worldwide renown as brilliant solo performers and instrumentalists. The duo’s powerful blend of passion and virtuosity is brilliantly captured on their debut album Power & White, simultaneously filmed and recorded live for promotion on YouTube by Candyrat Records.

Recorded this past September in Chicago, Walk in Light is Andrew's best album to date. Featuring a full band comprised of the city's finest session musicians, it introduces an array of new songs from a broad spectrum of styles. From reggae beats to blues to folk, it displays beautifully Andrew's versatility as a guitarist, songwriter and arranger.

Traces of Silver was recorded and filmed in Nova Scotia, Canada in 2007 in a old barn at the Silver Glen Resort. The cd is a collection of vocal and instrumental songs with a single duet performed with Gillian Boucher.
Folk / Celtic
Andrew White - Live was released in early 2005 and was recorded by CBC Radio Canada for the Atlantic Airwaves program. While technically brilliant, his guitar work and soulful vocals is not just out to impress - it has a pleasing, highly melodic structure.
Solo Acoustic Guitar
Andrew White's debut release is a solo acoustic guitar affair. Andrew's unique sound is difficult to describe. He was inspired in his youth by folk guitar greats Ralph McTell, Bert Jansch and John Renbourn but is of a generation even more mind-blowing in its dexterity and inventiveness on the fretboard. While technically brilliant, his guitar work is not just out to impress - it has a pleasing, highly melodic structure.
