Bela Fleck and the Flecktones : Live Art

© 1996 Warner Bros / Wea

Live Recording - Double CD

Bluegrass banjo whiz Bela Fleck formed the Flecktones in 1990 with jazz pianist Howard Levy, funk bassist Victor Wooten, and electronic-drummer Roy Wooten. Since then the band had become legendary and pioneered a genre all their own, mixing virtuosic musicianship with experimental, bluegrass, jazz, and pop influences.

The band has won several Grammy awards.

Each of the current members of the quartet has released at least one solo album.

The band went on an amicable year-long hiatus throughout 2005, during which the individual members toured frequently in other configurations. The Flecktones are active and touring again in 2006.

List Price: $16.99
