As We Know It is the third release from Jack West and his ensemble Curvature. This album marks the first recording of Jack on his custom 8 string acoustic guitar as well as the first recorded meeting of Jack and guitar virtuoso Dean Magraw.
The music on As We Know It is centered around Jack West's original compositions. The progressive acoustic jazz sound that develops is characterized by complex polyrhythms, odd time signatures, playful melodies, intense improvisation, and deep grooves.
