This is the first recording by Jack with his ensemble, Curvature. It features Jack West on acoustic guitar,
Calder Spanier (of the Charlie Hunter Quartet) on sax, and Scott Proffitt on percussion. The recording also
includes a special guest appearance by madolin virtuoso Mike Marshall. It was recorded at Ahead Behind Music
Studio as described in the December 1997 Electronic Musician feature article. All 11 tunes on the CD are
original compositions by Jack West and it is distinguished by its "all-acoustic instrumentation...tight

Jack West on guitar, Calder Spanier on sax... I would have loved to seen them live. Calder is one of the few horn players I really get.
