"'Secrets Nobody Keeps' is the latest album from this Leeds based musician. Fan-funded through PledgeMusic during a four week campaign means with no record company involvement Jon maintains his DIY ethics. He continues to create the music he wants with no constraints or boundaries, with just the help of producer Whiskas who helps to transfer the haunting melodies and original music of Jon Gomm to disc for all to discover."
"It is difficult to categorise Jon's music, there are it seems no boundaries. It encompasses Blues, Jazz, Folk and Soul elements, sometimes in the same song. A sparse and melancholy vibe is created throughout, take the aforementioned 'Passionflower' for example, with its clever harmonics and Jon's ability to tune various strings up and down as he plays and sings simultaneously. It is something I have never seen done before and the way he makes it look and sound so damn effortless sure is a true craft. To now hear on record, it's seamless and just as impressive as it is live." - Ben Hughes (Uber Rock)
