Antoine Dufour's third solo cd, Existence, is his best yet by far, with epic compositions that break ground on the instrument and move more towards a progressive rock sound than displayed on his first two CDs, Naissance and Development. Antoine Dufour releases his second solo cd on Candyrat Records. Development is a continuation of the journey he started with his first solo cd, Naissance. The cd is a mostly a solo affair with the exception of two duets with friend and fiddle player Tommy Gauthier.

Antoine Dufours’ thirteen original compositions come to life on this CD. Naissance (Birth) is a fitting title for this CD as it is his first completely original and solo project. The CD is receiving critical acclaim and along with appearances and awards at major festivals, Antoine is building a National reputation for innovation and creativity.

The DVD is pack with sixteen songs, eight each from both Andy McKee and Antoine Dufour, many of the YouTube favorites and some new and unreleased performance as well. Discs are universal format (playable on any DVD player in the world)

I play music because I need to. I also play music because it expresses that which words so often cannot. A good deal of the music I listen to has no words, and though I’ve written a handful of songs with lyrics, most of what I play and write also has no words.
