“… his debut album “Rag Tap Boom” is a true jewel… Forastiere’s
technique is an exquisite mélange between classical and modern, between
tradition and innovation, just as his sources of artistic inspiration, ranging
from Stravinsky to Zappa…”
Ezio
Guaitamacchi – Jam
“… Forastiere explores the different dimensions of acoustic
composition, paying also close attention (fortunately) to the pleasure of
listening… To improvisation, he prefers a strict and accurate notation, a
personal choice that reflects his classical studies, along with his jazzy
element and the brilliancy of the Brazilian music and also powerful rock
influences… First-rate taste and refined emotional dynamics, emphasized by an
excellent use of harmonics…”
Alessandro
Stalti – Chitarre
“…Forastiere’s guitar art is crystalline, we could even venture
perfect: not a flaw, not an imperfection, no hesitation… 13 tracks that drew
beautiful mosaics…”
Dave Electric –

Forastiere... recorded without overdubs or special effects, Rag Tap Boom is a
fitting showcase for Forastiere’s superb acoustic guitar
work.”

“Circolare” is a thought of togertherness in the future tense, not only in music: the rhythm of Mediterranean popular dances fuses with certain dissonances, algid at times, coming from European contemporary and minimalist production; South American beat merges into Blues, and all is mixed up in an alchemy. The guitar execution gives an effect of orchestration, thanks to the use of alternative tunings and techniques: all the tracks were recorded live, without overdubbing.
