It’s been a minute
Thank you for your support! Having battled internally for decades, it
wasn’t easy to sit down and record these tunes; I’m grateful, beyond
measure, that you’re here with me. Even though it’s been 20 years
since The Rabid Petting Zoo I’m looking forward to picking it up from
here and carrying on through the fog.
Gratitude
My eternal thanks go to my wife and our amazing daughters (most people say that their kids are
the best, but mine are quantifiably better).
This EP is also very indebted to following people: Brian and Anita Bailey, Sean and Bill at

Dedication
I dedicate this EP to Rob Poland, whose contributions to the music we love will resonate
eternally. Despite his time on Earth being cut short, he brought fingerstyle, and other
guitar-centric music to a more prominent and accessible space, inspiring future generations of
guitarists without ever being on stage himself. His enthusiasm for the genre and dedication to
CandyRat was inspirational. Although I didn’t know him as well as many of my colleagues, his
passing affected me, and made me realize the importance of giving the world every part of your
soul, regardless of its reception.
